Hospital Letters and GP Appointments

Sometimes when patients attend hospital they are told to make an appointment with their GP to discuss their results. Please be aware it can take some weeks for the practice to receive the hospital correspondence. Patients often come for these results too soon and the appointment is wasted as the practice has not received the letter. If you are making an appointment to discuss such a matter please check with a receptionist and ask her to ensure that we have received the letter from the hospital.
