We have GP registrars training at the practice throughout the year. Registrars are fully trained doctors who are gaining experience in general practice.

Health checks can be booked with one of our practice nurses for: well man/woman, asthma, diabetes, chronic bronchitis, heart disease, blood pressure, hypertension, smears, 75yr , HRT, contraception, foreign travel advice, immunisations, pre conception advice.

 Emergency Contraception Available on Request.

District Nurses Wound management available by appointment at Chapelfields and HCRC. Home visits and palliative care available by arrangement.


Our Healthcare Team

We have a team of district nurses attached to the practice who look after our housebound patients. We have a community pharmacist – Cathy who works Tuesday to Friday. Cathy helps with medication reviews and can sort out any medication queries for patients. We have Andrew who sees patients for health checks available for patients aged 40 – 74 years with no pre-existing conditions. Andrew comes into the practice every Thursday.
