How to order your repeat prescription.
There are a number ways you can order your repeat medication.
Online
The easiest way to order a repeat prescription is to register for online services (Patient Access), you can do this below;

Please complete the online form to request a repeat prescription.

In Person
You can do this by returning the right hand half of a previous prescription and ticking the required medication or by filling in one of our yellow repeat medication slips that can be located in reception. The medication slip can then be posted into the post box located outside on the surgery wall just by the front entrance.
By Post
You can post your prescription slip or written request to the following address;

Non-urgent advice: Notice
Please note we can not accept prescription requests via telephone in line with NHS guidelines.
This decision was made to stop taking prescription requests over the telephone to minimise the risk of potential error causing a significant event.

How long does it take to process a prescription
Please allow 48 hours or 2 working days, for your prescription to be processed.
We would like to politely remind our patients, that it is your responsibility to order your prescriptions in good time, especially if your medication is likely to run out over a the weekend or a bank holiday.
How will my prescription be sent to my pharmacy
Electronic Prescriptions (EPS)
Pharmacies are registered to process your prescription electronically. This eliminates the need for you to collect your prescription from the surgery as it will be sent electronically to your nominated pharmacy and your medication will be ready and made up for collection for your convenience. Please ask at your pharmacy for more information.
Non-urgent advice: Notice
Please note that your prescription will not go electronically to the pharmacy unless you have let us know who your nominated pharmacy is. If you do not have a nominated pharmacy, then please call 0151 424 3101 to speak to a receptionist.
